Leisure Team Member Apprentice – Level 2

15 month development programme

Based: Neath Port Talbot, Celtic Leisure facilities commencing £9.16 per hour

If you love sport and fitness, a Leisure Attendant Apprenticeship with Celtic Leisure could be just what you’re looking for. This apprenticeship will give you all the skills, qualifications and knowledge to start your career in leisure. Your training with Celtic Leisure will give you the qualifications to work as a Fitness Instructor, Lifeguard and Swimming Teacher, so at the end of the apprenticeship, you’ll be able to take your career in a direction you love.

You will need to

  • Meet the apprenticeship qualification criteria (Non graduate).
  • Be friendly and hard working.
  • Have a flexible working approach (open early mornings, late evenings and weekends)
  • Enjoy learning.
  • Want to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
  • Be a competent swimmer and able to pass a swim test.

About Us Celtic Leisure (CL), was the first Industrial and Provident Society (IPS) established in Wales to manage leisure facilities. Launched in April 2003, it operates facilities on behalf of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, trading on a non-distributing profit basis. The leisure trust manages six leisure centres including four swimming pools and the Gwyn Hall, employing 200 staff on a permanent basis.  We are passionate about delivering excellence, making a difference to customers and colleagues, personal development and business success.
